Dawn never "dies". If she falls off the level she pops back with no penalty and in the princess puppet show she just gets knocked out and can go right back in.
Dawn has neither dialogue nor personality, though she does have some backstory.Easter Eggs

In the projection room of the theater, a bar of pink soap labelled "Jack" can be found. This is a reference to the film "Fight Club", in which the narrator would often refer to himself as Jack and makes a profitable business in selling soap.
In the level "The Usual Suspects", a blue phone box can be found close to the theatre outside of the level bounds. This is a possible reference to the TARDIS from Doctor Who.
