The Pills that can be seen at the reception desk (the blue pills in the bottle) are a real type of drug called Diazepam which is used to treat anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, seizures, muscle spasms, restless legs syndrome, alcohol withdrawal, benzodiazepine withdrawal, opiate withdrawal syndrome and Ménière's disease. It may also be used before certain medical procedures to reduce tension and anxiety, and in some surgical procedures to induce amnesia.

Easter Eggs

The "Vworrrp Vworrrp" achievement, which requires the player to give the patient two hearts, is a reference to the British sci-fi show "Doctor Who", in which the titular character has two hearts. The name and icon of the achievement are based on the sounds and appearance of the TARDIS.

In the secret Alien Surgery stage, all of the alien's organs are named after known YouTube personalities who have played the game. The only except is the Gobbleshaft. • Pewdsball is a reference to PewDiePie. • Birgirspallex is a reference to Birgirpall. • Cubed Trangrifier is a reference to NerdCubed (Nerd³). • Gavichal is a reference to Gavin and Michael's Rage Quit by RoosterTeeth. • Robbaloraz is a reference to Robbaz.
