In the Toothmaul Gully dungeon, there is a character whose name is "Gollum" and can be heard saying "Precious", which is a direct reference to J.R.R. Tolkein's Lord of the Rings.

In the Dangerous Webs Quest, the player is asked to "Follow the spiders", which is a reference to Harry Potter.

Merchants can be heard saying "We all have burdens to carry." a reference to Skyrim's Lydia.
