Thief User Reviews

Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron’s Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best-guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.

As an uprising emerges, Garrett finds himself entangled in growing layers of conflict. Lead by Orion, the voice of the people, the tyrannized citizens will do everything they can to claim back the City from the Baron’s grasp. The revolution is inevitable. If Garrett doesn’t get involved, the streets will run red with blood and the City will tear itself apart.

The game is not another sequel, but a reboot.

Revival of the cult classic "Thief" series of stealth games, which it is the fourth game.

Originally announced in 2009, under the working title "Thief 4", after rumors of it's development began to surface.

This marks the first time that Stephen Russell does not provide the voice for Garrett. There was an online petition to bring Russel back as Garrett's voice actor, but it did not come to fruition. Eidos stated two reasons for this change of voice actor. Firstly, they said that Russel's voice as it is presently did not match Thief well anymore. Secondly it was that the voice actors now had to do a lot of their own stunts, assisted with motion-capture devices, which again left Russell mismatched to the part.

[Garrett] Getting married? [Basso] Ha not again.

[Watch Guard] She is going to go get the piss pot.
