Takes place between the hobbit and the lord of the rings franchises.
Troy Baker (Talion) and Nolan North (the Black Hand) also starred together in The Last of Us (2013) as Joel and David respectively, though they never interacted together on-screen.
Talion's dagger, Acharn, is his son's broken sword, and bears a strong resemblance to Narsil, the powerful sword wielded by King Elendil in the Lord of the Rings universe. Acharn means Vengeance in the Elven language Sindarin.Quotes

Uruk: "You know I always enjoy killing you, Ranger, but it's the quiet time afterwards that I look forward to the most!!"Easter Eggs
